Pisac
Another treasure
hidden in the Sacred Valley that I didn't known of is the town Pisac only 33 km northeast
of Cuzco and 2715m above sea level. When we went there we thought that to reach the
ruins it will be only a short stroll from the town center but in fact it was
one of the hardest and steepest climbs in a while and the stairs up were basically vertical.
The ruins as well as the views were mesmerizing and it was all worth a climb, plus it was my first encounter
with Inca ruins so it will definitely stay with me for a long, long time. Town itself was also beautiful esp. it's Sunday market.
