Ruins around Cuzco

After Machu Picchu we returned to Cuzco for a couple more days as I just couldn't get enough of this place. We explored a bunch of ruins around the city that are only 8km walk from it. The first one that we visited and the highest one were Tambomachay at 3700m above sea level and next to them Pukapukara.

Then we walked down to Q’engo and at the end to Saqsaywaman known as ‘Sexy Woman’. They were all amazing but after a day packed with ruins you kind of have enough of it and they all seemed to look the same. I guess it’s like in Europe visiting churches, museum etc. after a while everything just merged into one and it’s even hard to see the difference. However still it was an awesome day to explore all this sites esp that the weather was simply superb to do that.
