BOLIVIA

On Thursday the 28^th of March we crossed the border with Bolivia woooohooooo!!!! We took a bus from Calama in Chile to Uyuni in Bolivia. First we were thinking of taking a train but apparently they are not very reliable and the journey can take up to 24 hours or more. So at the end we decided to take a bus which took us only 9 hours including going through customs, thank god everything went really smoothly without any dramas. Though we had to say our final goodbyes to comfy Chilean buses which really spoiled us with blankets, pillows, food, drinks, DVD’s, air con and with heaters when needed, and we had to say hello to Bolivian buses that are ‘slightly’ different.
