Lima

I have mentioned many times before that big cities and us don’t go to well together and we normally just fly through them. That’s what happened with Lima, we only spent there one afternoon, a night and the following day we left. Lima we got to see was far from the “real” Lima. We stayed in a much safer and fancier suburb called Miraflores which felt very luxurious in some sense and there was no sign of poverty. The thing I will remember the most from Lima is this poor, old sick dog that was howling on the street from a pain. I really wanted to call some vet to help him out or relieve him from suffering. It was so hard to see and seeing him left me feel guilty for not being able to do anything. But the thing is there is so many homeless dogs that the locals just don’t care about them plus the fact that no one even care about the homeless people.
