Back to Chile
Here we go again we
are off to Chile again, Argentina has been really good to us and we really
wanted to stay here a bit longer. Go across the country to Buenos Aires, pop in
to Uruguay and back to see Igazu Falls BUT I completely forgot what size of the
country we are dealing with. It is the 8th largest country in the
world in terms of an area and hearing it or seeing it on the map doesn’t do
much until you get here and you want to travel around. Then the hours spend on
the bus are counted in days not in hours. Plus Argentinian buses are really
expensive which is another reason why we decided to go up north via Chile and
unfortunately via the same route Osorno to Santiago. I say unfortunately only
because I don’t like going twice the same way. It would be awesome to go even
via Mendoza but it is double the price. Anyway we had 7 hours in Osorno/Chile
until catching the next 12 hour overnight bus to Santiago. However at the end our stop in Osorno wasn’t
too bad as the weather was perfect and we got to enjoy the sun and free Wi Fi
with a company of many friendly local dogs.
