Taganga

Some years ago, not that long time ago it was a small and quite fishing village only 10min from Santa Marta. Unfortunately it has changed dramatically when tourism arrived and turned this idyllic village into a dirty, busyand really unattractive place. The beach is really small and half of it is taken over by fishing boats, the other half supposed to be for swimming but it was just way too filthy to do that. We were more than happy to leave as soon as we arrived to nearby ‘paradise’ Tyrona National Park.
This beach only 20 min walk from Taganga was slightly better however still dirty and overcrowded and not that nice at all.
