Santa Marta
We passed through Santa Marta a few times while on the Caribbean coast but always only for a few hours or one night. Some parts of this colonial city were nice but overall it didn’t impress me as much as Cartagena.
new bag...new bag....new bag...new bag...new bag...new bag...new bag...new bag...new bag...new bag... :)
One last time we are both enjoying the most amazing Guanabana smoothie with milk. I am so glad that I have discovered this exotic fruit and that one evening in Salento I was curious enough to try this weird looking fruit.
We have travelled all South America by land all the way from Southern Patagonia to the Caribbean Coast up North. Only one time we flew from Puerto Varas to Punta Arena on our way down. However towards the end of our trip we were sick of long bus rides with crazy drivers. It was a bliss catching the plane from Santa Marta to Bogota that took us only one hour and saved us around 20 or so hours on the bus. Plus it was cheaper than bus!!!
