Dubai

Here we are, back in the same hotel in Dubai where we stayed with Monty in mid June but this time we have mum with us. It is a huge trip for her not only because she is flying for the first time but also going to a different continent with totally different culture, language, religion, food and extremely hot weather. Though we are only staying here for one night.

I am glad that we have a pretty good and fast connection, from Warsaw we only stop in Dubai and the next day we are off straight away to Sydney. I guess we could have fly directly but I always prefer to break the journey and stay at least one night in a hotel esp. now with Monty it makes so much easier with jet lag etc... Though 14 hour flight doesn't sound great but we just have to do it. Having mum to help me with Monty during the flight is simply the best! He is not a tiny wee baby anymore that will sleep the whole time, he loves to observe a lot more and wants to stay awake for much longer. Plus he is a lot bigger and barely fits the bassinet probably the last time he will be able to have it anyway;/
