Planting a tree

On the day when I received my NZ citizenship I also got a native kowhai tree to plant it in New Zealand.
I really wanted to leave it in a special place and I do have a few favorite spots around South Island. At the end I have chosen a wee spot with native trees near Victory Beach at the Otago Peninsula. I have also buried my placenta there. This is a very special place for me and having both my placenta there and the tree growing above it makes it even more special.
