Exploring our new surrounding

Invercargill itself as a city didn't blow my mind (yet) I mean its not too bad but it definitely can't compare to Dunedin with its beautiful hills and Otago Peninsula. Saying that the surrounding here is pretty spectacular and the proximity to Stewart Island, Fiordland National Park or even Queenstown its just awesome. We try and go away somewhere every weekend even if its only for a few hours. My favorite so far is Riverton this cute wee fishing village is only half an hour drive from Invercargill. It is very sleepy and peaceful and reminds a bit of Irish fishing villages. I will have to photograph it properly one day as this time we only have stopped at the beach.
