ARGENTINA ! ! ! 3 attempts:(
Either Chile wants to keep us or..... Argentina doesn't really want us there. Bizarre and really, really frustrating!!
OK so its all started with the bloody day light saving that we didn't know of because we were tramping for the last three days in Torres del Paine. When we returned on Sunday we booked our bus tickets for the next day. On Monday morning we went to the bus stop in Puerto Natales half an hour before the bus should leave to El Calafate in Argentina and....the guy said that the bus left an hour ago:( It was our fault so we didn't even try to blame anyone BUT loosing money, loosing one day and staying another day in Natales was a bit frustrating indeed.
Anyway we went back to our hostel and bought new tickets for the following day (Tuesday) plus had some wine:) Next day happy that we are going, we got to the bus stop and.......the guy said that the bus to Argentina is tomorrow (Wednesday) aaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was more than frustrating it was a DISASTER!!!!! We had a wee argument with him that obviously on Monday we wanted to go the next day but he was a dick and wanted just sell the tickets without telling us that the bus will go in 2 days time. We went and tried to hitch hike to Argentina but after two hours we gave up and ended up again in the same hostel where I actually felt embarrassed coming back again. The worst thing was that in Argenitna we already had a free accommodation sorted via Couch Surfing and I had to change the date so many times.
